2015 Toyota RAV4 | Review

As far as family vehicles go, the RAV4 is a strong contender as long as you’re okay with a five-seater. This is a very agile small SUV with the get-up-and-go for urbanite families, even those who do the occasional road tripping.

The back cargo area is large enough for plenty of gear and groceries, as you can see. I liked the addition of a cargo organizer that has been missing from most of the other vehicles I’ve been driving this year.

Toyota offers up the touch lock system I have only experienced on the Toyota Highlander before now as well, if you’re holding the keys or have them on you, you only have to touch the door handle to lock and unlock the doors. This is also available on the Highlander and Sienna 2015 models.

Overall, the Toyota RAV4 met some of my must-haves:

  • leather upholstery
  • back-up camera
  • push-button lift-gate
  • USB connection
  • heated seats
  • power sun roof
  • Fits in my garage (EASY)

Unfortunately, without seating 7+ it’s a No for us.

The price as driven was just under $38,000 which works out to about $563 per month over 7 years according to the Cars.com Auto Loan Calculator.
