Ice Castles
Marvel at the acre-seized winter wonderland is crafted by hand, using only icicles and water, that resembles frozen waterfalls, glaciers or ice caves brought to Edmonton ice Castles.

Winter On The Square
Games including table tennis, ball hockey, giant checkers, giant chess and skating when the rink is open. Free skate rentals on a first-come-first-served basis. Swing ‘n’ Skate features live swing, jazz and big band music in the City Room at City Hall from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on most Sundays throughout January and February. Each week local bands will be joined by the Sugar Swing Dance Club to help put the boogie- woogie in your step!

ArtsCool Kid Classes “Graffiti Art Tile”
Kids are born naturally creative, but to help them stay that way we need to nurture that creativity and build their artistic confidence. Kids can join Crock A Doodle for some hands-on creative fun learning new artistic techniques. New projects featured each season. Ages 5 – 12, preregistration required.

Fred Penner
Many of today’s parents grew up with Fred Penner, watching him on CBC TV (Fred Penner’s Place, 1985-1997), and singing along to “The Cat Came Back” and “Sandwiches”. Fred’s career as a musician and television personality has endeared him in the hearts of Canadians of all ages, and he continues to write thought provoking, catchy tunes that kids and their parents can share and enjoy. His family concerts are thoroughly engaging – full of positive energy, laughter, and fun. So get ready to re-live some wonderful childhood memories, sing along, and introduce the incredible Mr. Penner to the next generation.

World Snow Day at Snow Valley
World Snow Day will be celebrated with a number of activities throughout the day. These will include a family fun race, terrain park tips from qualified instructors, kids games, hot chocolate and more. It will focus on families having fun at the hill.
