As part of my ongoing reviews of family vehicles this year, we drove the 2015 Mazda CX-9.
At this price point ($45,995 as driven) you can’t beat the options and space. It had many of my must-haves and was priced less than almost everything I’ve driven.
The drive is smooth and there is plenty of storage as you can see above. I had a Modern Mama event in Vancouver, and packed the truck FULL with all my gear.
The interior is spacious and my girls loved that they had their own cup holders.
Lots of room to spare in our (smallish) garage with the Mazda CX-9.
Even with the 3rd row up for extra passengers, there is still plenty of space for groceries and other cargo.
Overall, the Mazda CX-9 met all of my must-haves:
- 7 passenger seating
- leather upholstery
- back-up camera
- push-button lift-gate
- USB connection
- heated seats
- power sun roof
- Fits in my garage
I felt it was missing:
- power, it didn’t feel as quick as some of the other family vehicles we’ve driven
The price as driven was $45,995 which works out to $317 bi-weekly for 84 months according to the Mazda Canada website.
