Our recent visit to Disneyland for Disney Social Media Moms Celebration 2014 included a visit (well, several) to California Adventure Park. It had been a few years since we visited California Adventure and so we were delighted to discover Cars Land for the first time.

It truly is like stepping in to the movie. If you have a young fan in love with the Cars movie, they’ll be stunned and sure they walked right into the movie itself.

Cars Land looks and feels just like the movie, complete with Flo’s and the Cozy Cone Motel.

There are three rides in Cars Land, including the Radiator Springs Racers (shown above), Luigi’s Flying Tires and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.

We were fortunate to hear directly from the Pixar Cars Franchise Guardian Jay Ward talking about keeping elements of the park in synch with the movie and Kathy Mangum, Creative Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering on the countless hours and years in the making of Cars Land.

Full Disclosure: I was invited to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. Disney Parks offered a special discounted rate for all attendees and their families. This is a once in a lifetime experience and I am grateful to Disney for allowing my family and I to participate. All posts unless otherwise indicated are not ads and are my own personal thoughts and opinions, not those of the Walt Disney Company.
