Hot Find Friday: ivivva Active Wear for Girls

My girls and I were recently invited the ivivva store on West 4th in Kitsilano for a fit session. They wanted to hear what the girls liked or disliked about their clothes, and find out what sports they participate in and wear active clothing for.

My girls wear active clothing for school as well as activities, so we have already loved ivivva for a few years. In fact, they’re the only pants that fit my middle girl well since she’s very slim but average height, making most brands fit too short for her.

We love ivivva athletic wear for the following reasons …

Bright colours

What little girl doesn’t love bright pinks, turquoises and purples, our faves!

Athetics focused

Ivivva carries clothing specific to a particular sport: gymnastics, skiing, skating, layering appropriately for each (and more!).

Sized right

As I mentioned, I love that they fit the pants a big long and offer free hemming. This means my nine-year-old is wearing a size 6 to fit her little waste but the pants are long enough for her. I love that!

Customer Care

The brand searches for feedback on an ongoing basis. During our fit session (which they do with all girls, by the way), they asked the girls directly “what do you like about this?” “what would you change?” “what will you wear this for?” and so on.

Community Events

ivivva offers regular in-store yoga classes for girls as well as other special events. On January 24th their Dreams & Goals event, created for young girls, debuts at lululemon with Olympic Skier Julia Murray. This event happens January 24th from 4.30-6.30pm at  lululemon, 1818 Cornwall, call 604-732-6188 or email west4th-store@ivivva.com to register. Space is limited.

I even adore their scarves for me!

By receiving clothes do you mean your girls got free clothes, or that they purchased clothes after your fit session?
