December is the busiest month of the year. I’ve just discovered the term hygge and I’m planning on putting some of these practices to good use this month when things get crazy and I wish there was more time to enjoy the holidays. Here are a few things you can try this evening to “hygge” your home and create a more peaceful environment and focus on the things that really matter most: your family.
Dim the lights, light some candles or turn on a lamp
Be here in the now, phones down for everyone
gather all of the softest coziest blankets in the house and make a fort or have a cuddle party in the living room
