As your keep-the-kids-busy Spring Break activity list dwindles, Historic Stewart Farm saves the day! AND it’s local. AND it’s free. What?
Show the kids what kind of work a pioneer farm kid did in Surrey 100+ years ago. Costumed staff will greet the family and then sit back as your kids sweep the verandah, draw from the water pump and wash clothes on a vintage washboard and hang them on the clothes line. After all their hard work, treat them to a much-deserved cookie and hot chocolate and a run around the grounds as they search for the bunnies who recently made the farm their home.
This little bunny couple has made themselves quite at home at Historic Stewart Farm since the snow melted and now we need help naming them. While you are at the Farm, enter your name suggestions and we will choose from the entries. Keep an eye on the Farm’s Facebook and Twitter accounts to see what these two get up to!
