Tell us about yourself
I am a mom of two beautiful children, ages 3 and 8. In my past profession I created a business called Kinder Café in Port Coquitlam and ran it for 4 years. It was a play center for moms, dads and their little ones, combined with a café atmosphere. I created this business out of my passion for helping families cope with the struggles of parenting by connecting with one another.
Why did you become a financial representative?
I became a Financial Security Advisor because I wanted to continue in a career where I was still able to help families in a meaningful way. Finances are the basis of everything we do in life, and yet they are something, I don’t believe, we are taught enough about in school.
What is your favourite part of your role?
I love connecting with families and creating a life-long relationship with them in helping them plan for their future and achieve their goals. The best part is knowing that I’m helping them make a plan for their future, and being apart of their success.
What do clients say when you’re finished working with them?
They usually tell me how thankful they are that I have helped them achieve some clarity in what their objectives are and how they plan to get there.
Why should parents invest in an RESP?
