Recipe: Chocolate Lava Cake

Chocolate Lava Cake

How delicious do those look?! Pretty yummy right?!

Well… THEY TASTE EVEN BETTER! They were a huge hit with the entire family.

What you will need:

1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup Butter (or margarine)
2 Eggs
3 TBSP of flour
1/2 Cup of Sugar

4 Ramekin Dishes

How it’s done:

Set your oven to 375 degrees and butter the bottom and sides of the ramekin dishes.

Melt chocolate and butter together. I did this in the microwave at 45 second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. You could also do this in a double boiler on the stove too. Set aside.

Whisk together eggs, flour, and sugar until smooth but frothy.

Pour melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture. Stir until smooth and color is consistent.

Spoon chocolate batter into ramekins.

On a baking sheet, bake the ramekin dishes for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and let it cool for at least 10 minutes!

The outside will be a fantastic cake, and the inside the perfect gooeyness!

**I made these before I started dinner, and put them in the fridge until I needed them, and adjusted the baking time to 23 minutes**
