2015 Ford Expedition | Review

The 2015 Ford Expedition fit all of our needs, and we all enjoyed it. Overall, it was my husband’s number one pick for vehicles we have driven this year.

I was surprised that it fit into our garage and we managed just fine with getting in and out of the back seats in the driveway.

The interior was as roomy as you would expect, the only change I would prefer is a two-bucket-seat second row and bench third row. (which may be an option on the Expedition, but not on the model we drove)

The interior burgundy coloured leather upholstery was a nice surprise.

I loved the safety features as well. Not only do you already feel safe when you’re one of the biggest vehicles on the road, but the extra features like lane control, side view blind-spot indicators and all around sensors make you feel like you’re in complete control in this vehicle. For example if your front or back end is close to an object, the truck beeps at you. If you are not braking but there is a braking vehicle in front of you – the truck will beep and flash a red light on the dashboard right in your line of sight.

Overall, the Ford Expedition met all of my must-haves:

  • leather upholstery
  • back-up camera
  • push-button lift-gate
  • USB connection
  • heated seats
  • power sun roof
  • Fits in my garage
  • seven-passenger seating (8)

The price as driven was just under $71,000 which works out to about $1050 per month over 7 years according to the Cars.com Auto Loan Calculator.
