Summer has begun but as parents we all know you need to be one step ahead. September will come soon enough and having your child registered and ready to go is vital. The best preschools and daycares often fill up well in advance so, doing your research now will save you a big headache later on. About Learn & Play Preschool
Founded in 2018, Learn & Play Preschool offers a balanced curriculum that includes both math and literacy with fun activities. This combination prepares kids to enter into classroom with confidence while also allowing them to explore interests and move their bodies. They have set themselves apart by not only bringing down the classroom ratio of children to educators from 12-1 to 8-1. But also, by partnering with the Society for Treatment of Autism and Kids Development Services. Having those amazing programs along with a smaller classroom size enriches interactions, awareness, and experiences.
Programs
Learn & Play Preschool has a wonderful mix of educational and fun learning opportunities. Whether you need full time or part time you can feel confident you’re only being charged for the amount of days you actually needs. You can choose from their 3 year old preschool program, 4 year old junior kindergarten program, or their 3/4 year old split.
What you can expect:
- Learning through play- Play-centric activities are designed to encourage spontaneous, active, and fun interactions.
- Music and Dance – Music helps children develop rhythmic and melodic intelligence and enhances social, emotional skills and physical skills.
- Yoga for kids- It is developmentally appropriate and geared to a young child’s attention span. Through Yoga, we teach your children how to move, slow down, balance play and rest, and feel joyful.
- Concepts of Mathematics – Here children are taught counting numbers, counting objects, and shapes, and classifying them. These concepts are taught in the most fun way like playing with an abacus, building with blocks, or doing art and craft.
- Handwriting – Children who get an early start on writing, are better prepared to learn and succeed in school. Handwriting Without Tears is a program that provides developmentally appropriate instructional methods for all learning styles
- Social Interaction- Children here are surrounded by groups of teachers and other children, which encourages confident and appropriate interaction.
Full Day Program
Learn & Play Preschool offers many different options for full day programming. You can choose from 2-5 full days per week along with before or after care hours added on. The Affordability Grant is paid directly to them decreasing the amount paid by you up front.
Full Day Preschool Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Before Care Hours: 7:05 am – 8:30 am
After Care Hours: 3:30 pm – 5:55 pm
Fees:
- Parent Fee for 50-99 hours per month = $230
- Parent Fee for 100+ hours per month = $326.25
Half Day Program
Learn & Play Preschool has 3 different options when it comes to their half day program. You can choose from 2, 3, or 5 days a week in either their AM or PM classes.
Half Day Preschool Hours: 8:30 am – 11:30 am or 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Fees:
- Parent Fee for 50-99 hours per month = $230
- Parent Fee for 100+ hours per month = $326.25
- Parent Fee for 50 hours and below =$160- $230
Summer Program
We know work doesn’t stop in the summer but Learn & Play Preschool has you covered with their summer program. Offering full day care with the flexibility of choosing 2-5 days! Ensuring you only signing your kids up for the days you actually need care. With the addition of before and after care you won’t need to worry about not making it there in time.
Full Day Preschool Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Before Care Hours: 7:05 am – 8:30 am

They are also offering a summer punch passes! The perfect option for those those parents who need help in the summer that need to go grocery shopping or run errands or would like a few hours to themselves. Advanced booking is required to ensure space availability and staffing ratios. Punch passes are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- 10 punch pass – $275
- 20 punch pass – $500
- Valid for July and August Only
- One punch = up to 4 hours
- Siblings receive 10% off additional punch passes
