One of the best times of the year has finally arrived! I feel like fall is such a short season for us here in Edmonton, so I try to take advantage whenever I can. With the evenings getting darker earlier, this is the ideal time to get out and enjoy some Halloween fun.
I am a scaredy cat, so lots of Halloween events aren’t really my vibe. Luckily, Pumpkins After Dark is the perfect mix of spooky and family-friendly, with no jump scares — making it a great Halloween activity for the whole family.
About Pumpkins After Dark Edmonton
Pumpkins After Dark is Canada’s largest family-friendly walk-through pumpkin experience, featuring more than 10,000 hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns.
As you make your way through Borden Park after dark, you’ll find illuminated pumpkin displays and themed scenes created from thousands of carved pumpkins. It’s become one of our favourite ways to celebrate Halloween in Edmonton without having to worry about anything being too scary for the kids.

Pumpkins After Dark is a timed-entry event, so you’ll choose your date and arrival time when purchasing your tickets.
Parking is available at the Edmonton EXPO Centre for $16.50.
Tickets
There are a couple of different ways to experience Pumpkins After Dark Edmonton this year.
General Admission: Ticket prices vary depending on the date and time you choose, with discounted tickets available on select Thriller Thursdays.
VIP Admission: Want a little extra? VIP tickets allow you to arrive at any time during event hours on your selected date and include a maze pass, Monsters in 3D experience pass, plus one merchandise item valued up to $20.
Last entry is at 10 PM, and the event closes at 11 PM.
