Is it really Christmas without The Nutcracker?
The Alberta Ballet is debuting the 10th anniversary of their Nutcracker production this December 6th to 9th! The Nutcracker features more than 120 performers with beautifully designed sets and gorgeous costumes designed by Emmy award winner Zack Brown. With their 10th anniversary, they will be celebrating with a special edition that includes guest cameos and new choreographed elements.
Opulent and historically authentic, this magical turn- of-the-century retelling of E.T.A. Hoffman’s famous tale is transposed to Imperialist Russia’s majestic era when French fashion was in vogue and Tchaikovsky composed his timeless masterpiece.
