2023 has started off pretty low-key and “normal”. I am certainly not going to complain. I think we have all had enough of the chaos and unpredictability of the last 3 years.
There are lots of events and shows coming up starting in February to take us through till the start of Spring.
Below are a list of some events/trade shows that are coming back to Greater Vancouver this February and March.
BC Home & Garden Show – March 16 to 19, 2023
BC Place, Vancouver
As we approach spring, now is the perfect time to tackle those at-home projects and renovations you’ve been dreaming of for the last year or so. With a lineup of leading home improvement, design, culinary and garden experts, you can make your vision come to life with the help of our trusted experts.
This year Bryan Baeulmer from “HGTV’s Island of Bryan” is back on the main stage as well as Graeme Huguet (My House Design Build), Kathy Yuen (Phase One) and Megan Golightly (Simplified Inc).
Tickets range from $8-$16 with kids 12 and under FREE Purchase tickets online to save $2. Discounts also available for BCAA members. In addition if you are an Encore Rewards member, you can park at parq casino resort for FREE.
FanExpo Vancouver – February 18-20, 2023
Vancouver Convention Centre
There are way so many amazing celebrities coming to this years Fan Expo Vancouver. I am really looking forward to this year. From vendor to guest celebrities, voice actors, cosplayers and comic creators there really is so much to see and do at Fan Expo. So much in fact that one day is usually not enough! This year they are having a Poke-Monday and an interactive family zone. You can come in costume or not. Get your comic books signed and/or have a meet and greet with your favorite celebrity.
Tickets are on sale now. Advanced pricing of $33/single day & $80 3-day pass is on until February 3rd. After that tickets are $38-$90 or the ultimate fan package is $119.Note: as of February 10, any tickets are sold out. Limited tickets are left.

Love Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge – February 3-26, 2023
North Vancouver – Daily 10am- 8pm

From February 3 – 26, take your date night to the next level and bring your sweetheart to Love Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk’s Arc de Lumina and Park will all feature Valentine’s themed lighting experiences and activities that will dazzle and amaze romantics of all ages! Pop! Pop! – February 10-19, 2023
Presentation House Theatre – North Vancouver
Created for the very young (2-4 year olds) – Pop! Pop! takes us to a fantastical world of water and uses the fundamental game of hide and seek as a driving force of nature.
Join characters “Seek” and “Hide” as they discover and explore a colourful undersea world of sensory experiences including adorable puppets, and gentle, playful interaction with live musical layers and a rich soundscape.
