There are many items out there that claim to be a “must-have” for new parents. Few stand up to their recommendations. For me, the Diaper Genie was one that did. I first had a Diaper Genie about 10 years ago, when my oldest was born. After switching to full-time cloth diapering with my second, I passed on my Diaper Genie to someone in need.

Fast forward 10 years and I am currently an adoptive, biological and foster parent to 6. Two of these are babies. As you can imagine, two babies go through a lot of diapers. I have been contemplating getting a new Diaper Genie and recently have been given the chance to try one of the latest, The Diaper Genie Elite.

As you can see, I was not disappointed in the latest features of the Diaper Genie Elite. I’m excited to have the diapers stored out of sight (and smell). I also love that the updated colors, including blue, which matched my nursery perfectly. I have been using it now for a few weeks and you would never know by smell that we live with two babies in diapers. The charcoal filter and diaper clamp are the features that help make that possible. The 7-layer bag also keeps odors trapped.  The hands-free design helps to keep my home clean and my family healthy.
