WHO

A kid-friendly dining option for breakfast and lunch in the Upper Village, Whister. The Portobello also serves a casual dinner in peak Summer and peak Winter months.

WHAT

The Portobello is a casual deli-style restaurant located in the Fairmont Chateau Whistler nestled into the heart of the Upper Village.

WHERE

It’s an easy walk from any of the Upper Village hotels including the Club Intrawest and Four Seasons, and the base of Blackcomb mountain (perfect mid-day caffeine & sandwich stop).

WHY

Well-known for its Maple Bacon Cream donut, shown above, which sells out daily (and the filling is a luscious cloud-like just slightly sweet custard) and latte stop, they have also begun serving during peak Winter and Summer seasons (currently closed for dinner until mid-December).
