As you have seen from several of my articles on the blog, I am a HUGE subscription box fan. So I was thrilled to find out that Gathered was coming out with their very own subscription box! Gathered is a subscription box and retail company that specializes in finding unique and innovative baby, toddler and children’s’ products.
About The Founders
Tanja and Tamara Kankaansyrja are twin sisters and were born and raised here in Canada! The sisters have an incredible passion for giving the perfect gift that aids in comfort, nurturing, development of precious minds. This stems from their grandmother, who loved celebrating the people in her life with presents selected with care, insight, and love. They strive to bring you locally made products whenever possible, and show you the best that Canadian entrepreneurs have to offer!
How It Works
There are 3 different options to choose from when selecting your box, a 1-month, 3-month or 6- month memberships. The longer the subscription, the better the price! Your box will be delivered on or around the 7th, every second-month starting in October, November, December, etc. You can also shop at their retail store that carries tons of fabulous items ranging from clothing to hand-painted signs.
What’s Inside?
You can expect to receive a curated box, filled with 3-6 expertly chosen items. Your box will be curated not only by your child’s age and gender, but also by season, colors, and some items they think are must-haves! You will find a fabulous mixture of products within the box such as; Pals Socks, Cat and Levi Puppet, Happy Hippo Bath Co, ABC Of Canada board book and more! The items you will find in your box are not typically found in their retail store and are unique, educational, and fun products that everyone is sure to love.
Giving Back
Gathered knew that they wanted to give back to the community in some way, so after some research, they came across The Teddy Bear Fund. A charity that supports children that have been on welfare, suffered abuse, neglect, and abandonment. 5% of each box sold will go towards aiding in housing, education and providing basic needs to those that are aging out of the system.
