I love Famoso pizzeria. I thought I’d see what my kids thought and took them there one night last week while Mike worked late. They called it ‘girls night out’.
I like the casual atmosphere of at-the-bar ordering and was impressed they have some kid menu items (combo of mini pizza, pop and scoop of gelato or sorbetto for $7). We chose to eat family style and share a tomato soup (shown above) and two pizzas. My girls and I devoured both.
While we waited, they delivered a small slice of pizza dough and flour for each of the girls. I thought this was a bit odd at first. Pizza dough, to play with? But my kids loved it. they rolled it, flattened it, made shapes with it, and probably spent more time playing than eating.
$12 for a Margherita pizzetta and Caprese salad. Such a great lunch!
Lunch or dinner, it’s a great option for families.
