Pride Celebrations Happening in Fraser Valley

Pride Celebrations are taking place all over the city and the Fraser Valley is no different! We have it all when it comes to fun events and we want you to get out there and have some fun, show some support and spread the love!

July 13th- Fraser Valley Pride Celebration- Youth Dance and Drag Show

Time: 7pm- 11pm

Where: Abbotsford Arts Centre Addition-  2329 Cresent Way

Cost: By Donation

Info: This is a sober space for people 13 to 25. Open to LGBTQ2S+ & allies.

 

July 14th- Fraser Valley Pride Celebration- Festival and Walk

Time: 12pm- 4pm

Where: 2552 McCallum Road

Cost: FREE

Info: Open to LGBTQ2S+ & allies. There will be live entertainment from Queer As Funk, Stephen Scaccia, Fraser Valley Youth, Tribaleyez, Inspire Me Fitness, Circus Lab, and the Valley Clique: Anida Tyhole, Justice Dejour, Jo King. This event will feature community booths, speakers, vendors and more.

 

July 14th- 6th Annual Pride Celebration Dinner & Dance

Time: 5:30pm- 11pm

Where: Abbotsford Arts Centre Addition- 2329 Crescent Way

Info: This is a 19+ event. This year they will be hosting a Variety Show Showcasing local talent including performances by: Stephen Scaccia, “The Valley Clique”, Local Comedian Julia Stretch, and a special Dance routine by Luminesque Dance. To finish the night off we will be dancing with Special Guest DJ “DJ Krista”.

Surrey

June 30th- Surrey Pride Festival in Holland Park

Time: 11am- 3pm

Cost: FREE

Where: Holland Park- 13428 Old Yale Road

 

June 30th- Glitter and Glam Ball

Time: 7pm to 1am

Where: 10768 King George Blvd.

Info: This is a 19+ event. Open to LGBTQ2S+ & allies. Suggested dress code is glitter and glam. Entertainment includes: First Nations Comedian Chuck Cease from Delta BC, Portland’s Queer Cabaret Troupe Caravan of Glam. Caravan of Glam shows are very interactive and audience driven, they will be down in the crowd, bring people up on stage, showing a lot of skin and will have something for everyone. This event will also include a Silent Auction, 50/50 Draw, and a DJ for your dancing enjoyment.

 

New West

August 18th- Pride Street Party

Time: 3pm to 8pm

Where: Columbia Street

Cost: FREE

Info: Open to LGBTQ2S+ & allies. New West Pride is just steps from New West and Columbia Skytrain Stations.
