The mountains are the place to be no matter what season it is. With breathtaking views, stunning landscapes, and animals you would never see in the city – you can’t beat it. Banff has offered Open Top Touring for some time now and we are thrilled to have it come to Jasper. This mountain town is filled with so much beauty and history that we can’t think of a better way to see it.

Open Top Touring Jasper
Last month I was invited out to experience Pursuits newest attraction in Jasper. I was thrilled as when we were in Banff we had missed out on their Christmas themed tour ( highly recommend). We were fortunate enough to be able to ride it both in the evening and morning this trip which gave two very different experiences. Definitely dress in layers when going in the Spring ( I learned that the hard way) it is much colder up in the mountains than you expect. Fortunately they do have blankets in the vehicle which was much appreciated. In the morning it was raining so, you can always have the option of staying in the vehicle at the stops if its too chilly. I thought this was a great way to still be able to get out and see those views even in crummy weather!
Departing from the Crimson Hotel climb aboard the vintage 1930s automobile and get ready to visit downtown Jasper and some gorgeous views. Your chauffeurs are there to assist you getting in and out of the vehicle and to educate you on the history of Jasper along with some captivating stories, myths, and legends as you drive along. Be prepared to have several stops along the way to get those scenic photos and stretch your legs.
Now it is called Open Top Touring so, weather permitting you will get to raise the roof and pop your head out the top! However, even with the glass in you still get that feelin of the roof being completely open. If you’re lucky you may get to enjoy a nice hot or cold beverage at one of your stops. My favorite had to be Pyramid Lake the stunning water and mountain combo was jaw dropping! These vehicles seat a small group of 20 very comfortably and are perfect for weddings as well.
