Snowflake Festival in St. Albert: Everything you need to know!

Come and celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season with the annual Snowflake Festival Light Up in St. Albert! This Friday from 6:30pm-9:00pm there will be LOTS to see & do in downtown St. Albert for the entire family. All activities are free, please bring a donation for the Food Bank!

  • Reign of Fire Performer & Hot Chocolate

St. Albert Place (Inside)

  • Storytelling around the Christmas Tree (St. Albert Public Library)
  • A sneak peak of the Country Craft Fair
  • Gingerbread Lane, vote on your favourite! (Arden Theatre Lobby)
  • Balloon Art (Arden Theatre Lobby)
  • Craft & Hot Drinks (Musee Heritage Museum)

Community Hall (Outside)

  • Christmas Tree Light Up @6:30
  • Live Ice Carvings all evening
  • Hot Chocolate & Carolling

Community Hall (Inside)

  • Visit with Santa (6:45-8:45pm)
  • Santa’s Gift & Kid’s Craft
  • Photobooth

Along Perron Street

  • Fill-A-Bus Campaign

  • Mail a Letter to Santa @ The Post Office
  • EMS & Firetruck Displays
  • Hot Apple Cider
  • Some businesses will also be open and providing treats!

Along St. Michael’s Street

Along St. Thomas Street (ATCO Winter Boulevard)

  • Horse & Wagon Rides (start here and travel throughout downtown)
  • Live Local Music @ the ATCO Winter Soundstage

  • The Winter Workshop: Cookie Decorating, Gold Medal Olympian Marc Kennedy, Sparkle Tattoos and Colouring Activity
Parking will be limited, but there is a Park N Ride from the Village Transit Station to the Downtown Perron District.
