I started the AdvoCare 24-day Jumpstart with my husband Mike, today!
What is the 24-Day Jumpstart?
Well, what it is, is a KICK in the pants for me to get healthy this year. To me, it’s a way to jump into some new routines and break some not-so-great habits.
According to AdvoCare, the 24-Day Jumpstart is designed to fuel that fresh start in your fitness journey and help set you on the path towards a healthy lifestyle by focusing on weight management, body composition, energy, and wellness. The system begins with a 10-day Cleanse Phase to prepare your body for optimal nutrition. This is followed by a 14-day Max Phase, which focuses on developing a routine of fueling your body with quality supplementation and a healthy balanced diet.
It includes vitamins, supplements, a cleanse and probiotics, along with some healthy eating tips, and a Transformation Journal (note, the spruced up, colourful and sticker-laden journal above is customized by yours-truly ;))
In 2019, my goals are:
- Exercise 5 days/week (3km elliptical + light weights and squats) (I already do this but more like 3-4/week, I’ve never liked exercise)
- Drink more water
- My first step in my healthy living goals for 2019!
I’m not in this alone – my husband Mike has also committed to doing the Jumpstart with me!
His healthy living goals for 2019 are:
- Lift weights consistently (he already does this)
- Lean out
A glance at the journal can be seen in the image below. It helps you determine what to eat, and what supplements to take throughout the day. It also guides you on how much water to drink, what types of food to eat (and avoid) and helps to keep you on track.

We’re on day 5 and feeling great! We’re still eating foods we like, you can follow along on my Instagram Stories! I’ve been sharing some meals and things I’m doing this week!
I love that the 24-Day Jumpstart includes all the vitamins, supplements and probiotics I need – no guesswork at all! I am even check-boxing the items in my Journal every day to ensure I’m doing it right!
