TOTEM ~ Cirque du Soleil

“A fascinating journey into the evolution of mankind.”

As I Mentioned above any production that Cirque du Soleil puts on is going to be a favourite of mine. I love love love the excitement of their productions and I have heard that Totem is amazing too. I’m not surprised. If you do decide to go, get yourself a sitter as you’ll want to savour every moment of this I’m told!

Fun Fest

Friday June 13th, 3-7pm, Free admission.
The Lord Roberts school’s biggest fundraiser of the year is happening on Friday June 13th. Join in for family fun for everyone and help us create a new playground for our students
and the West End community. All proceeds go directly to new playground equipment.

They will have a yard sale, bouncy castles, sweets, games, a BBQ and an awesome raffle. Your kids will love the fun to be had!

Community Beach Safety Day

With this weather we’re having you’ll n doubt enjoy this fun-filled family day that raises awareness of personal and community safety at beaches and parks.

Meet the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) Beach Bike Patrol, VPD Marine Squad, VPD Mounted Squad, Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services, West End-Coal Harbour Community Centre, Granville Downtown Community Police Centre, Vancouver Park Rangers and Vancouver Life Guards.

When: June 14 2014, 12-3pm

DADS GET IN FOR FREE on Father’s Day, JUNE 15, 2014 10am-12pm

Why not plan to bring the family and spend the day at the Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival? Promise your kids there are things just for them. Our kids’ area will include bouncing castles, face painting and multiple stage performances throughout the day. These performances include circus acts, jazz bands and hip hop dance groups. The kids’ area is presented by the Creekside Community Centre, so the little ones will be supervised by professionals.
