It is that time of year again, where we celebrate all things Canada on our dear Country’s 150th birthday! And because there are so many wonderful Canada Day Celebrations taking place in and around Edmonton again this year, I give you this list:
Canada Day at the Alberta Legislature
Canada Day at the Legislature is a celebration that honours Alberta’s history and diversity through entertainment and activities for all ages. There will be live performances, a pancake breakfast, Canada Day Celebration cake, a citizenship ceremony, and a road race.
When: 10 am to 7 pm

Canada Day at the Art Gallery
Spend Canada’s 150th at the Art Gallery of Alberta!
When: 11 am to 5 pm
Where: 2 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton

Celebrate Canada Day at City Hall
Celebrate Canada Day at City Hall, there will be live music and dancing, performances, activities, City Hall tours, and more!
When: 11 am to 6 pm

Canada Day at the Edmonton Valley Zoo
Celebrate Canada Day, the Zoo’s Birthday and Lucy’s Birthday, with mini cupcakes, live music, family activities and more!

Canada Day at the Devonian Botanic Garden
Celebrate Canada Day at the beautiful Devonian Botanic Garden, there will be musical entertainment, kids in the garden activities, insect catching, cake, and more!

Canada Day at the Muttart Conservatory

Canada Day Celebration
The Belmead Community Leauge invites you to enjoy a BBQ supplied by MLA Jon Carson, face painting, a magic show, carnival games, a balloon artist, fireworks, and Mojo photo will be onsite.

Canada Day Carnival
The MAC Islamic Centre invites you to Celebrate Eid and Canada Day with free food, games, activities, jumping castles, fireworks, and much more!

Canada Day with the Edmonton Prospects
Enjoy the Edmonton Prospects game which will be followed by live entertainment and a great view of the fireworks display.

Dominion Day
Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Confederation of Canada, Dominion Day. There will be an authentic parade, live entertainment and a variety of activities (July 1 + 2 + 3).

Canada Day 2017 Party in the Park!
The Castle Downs Community League is hosting the party of the year to celebrate Canada’s 150th! There will be face painting, balloon fairies, watermelon, music, the spray park, the playground, music, and much much more!

Celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial in Beaumont; festivities begin with an official kick-off ceremony featuring local dignitaries, O Canada and celebratory cake in Four Seasons Park, followed by live entertainment, photo booth, games, activities, and more!
