There is just something so wonderful about the sights and smells of fall; the warm spices; the changing leaves and the pumpkin filled foods.

Pumpkin Bread (or loaf)  is a family favourite around here and this recipe is so simple, my kids love to help make it!

You will need:

1 teaspoon Salt
2 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Nutmeg
2/3 cup Water
2 Cups of Pumpkin Puree (Not Pumpkin Pie Filling)

What to do:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  • Grease & Flour two loaf pans; set aside
  • Beat Oil & Sugar in mixer until combined
  • Add eggs and beat well; set aside
  • In a separate bowl, combine Flour; Baking Soda; Salt & Spices
  • Alternately add Flour mixture & Water to batter; mix until combined
  • Beat in Pumpkin
