The weekend is here again and spring is just around the corner! If you aren’t outside splashing in the puddles or enjoying the sunshine, you might want to check these awesome events out:

Serca Festival

The  Serca Festival is back and is offering a family Ceilidh on Saturday afternoon featuring the ever wonderful Maralyn Ryan, dancing, crafts, refreshments and more!

The Patch Off Whyte

The Patch, an entertainment hub of big curling events, is being brought to the street as “The Patch Off Whyte,” filled with live music, beer gardens, free wagon rides, and street curling. It is fun for the whole family and you can find the details here!

Cineplex Family Favorites

Did you know that every Saturday there is a “Family Favorites” movie showing at various Cineplex Theatres; this week features: The Wizard of Oz.

Enjoy a free family movie night at Mill Woods Assembly; there will be popcorn and pop and the movie will be Sing.

Sunday Brunch

Take a stroll through the past at Fort Edmonton Park and enjoy a scrumptious brunch with your fam jam! After you’re done eating you are free to explore the park.

John Walter Museum

Take a step back in time and see how John Walter (and the Strathcona community of Walterdale) lived from 1875 to 1920!

St. Paddy’s Day Family Fun

Celtic Ceilidh and the Ceilidh Dance Society are hosting a St. Paddy’s Day Family Fun Event on Sunday, March 19th from 1:30 to 4:30PM, and all Celtic Ceilidh families are invited.
