Family Day Pancake Breakfast
Start your day off right with the 5th Annual Family Day Pancake Breakfast in Sherwood Park.

Winter Fest

The Backyardigans: Musical Playdate
The adventure continues with Pablo the penguin, Tyrone the moose and Uniqua the purple-spotted creature as they set out on their latest musical journey in The Backyardigans’ Musical Playdate.

Family Day at the Legislature
All activities and entertainment will take place in the Edmonton Federal Building and the Legislative Assembly Visitor Centre, throughout the warm pedway and inside of the Legislature Building. There will be various activities for the family and you can find the full line up here!

Highlands Family Fun Day
Bring your family and your sled, snowshoes, skis and/or skates down to the Highlands Golf Club for some family fun!

Enjoy live performances, crafts, Canada 150 Giveaways and more in City Hall all while there is skating (free skate rentals – while supplies last), sleigh rides and bannock making taking place outside!

Family Day at Elk Island National Park
“Get outside and embrace the winter season at Elk Island this Family Day. Pack a thermos and set out into a frosted landscape by snowshoe or cross country skis to explore one of the many trails in the park. Or lace up your skates and skate around Archer Island on Astotin Lake for a truly unique winter experience. When you’re ready for a warm up, settle in near the crackle of a campfire with hot chocolate in hand or visit the Elk Island Golf Course Clubhouse for a bowl of chili and live musical performances.”

Ice Castles
The Ice Castles are back and bigger than ever; this makes for a great family activity or for a night out for Mom and Dad.
