It seems as though winter is in full swing now and with the fresh snow we have a beautiful weekend ahead of us! There is a lot to see and do in Edmonton this weekend and you can enjoy the warmth of indoor activities as well as the beauty of outdoor activities. Candy Cane Lane
Candy Cane Lane is officially opening for the season!

Festival of Light
The Festival of Light celebrates the spirit of the season with spectacular light displays, outdoor activities, hot chocolate, crafts and more!

Fill Our Fleet
This year you can find Old Saint Nick at three different AMA Centers across Edmonton! From December 12 to 19 all of the AMA locations in Alberta are accepting donations to support the local Food Banks, but on Saturday, December 12th you can visit with Santa too! Find all the details here.

Hay Rides & Santa Photos
Santa will be visiting the Marketplace at Callingwood on two special evenings; families can enjoy a hay ride and get a photo with Old Saint Nick! There will also be coloring sheets to colour, hot chocolate to enjoy and cookies to decorate.

Winter Fun Festival
Experience the fun of the winter season at the Winter Fun Festival! There will be a family fun zone, sledding, cross country skiing, skating, more outdoor activities and indoor activities as well.

A Christmas Story
This week the Metro Cinema is showing, A Christmas Story as their Reel Family Cinema feature.

A Prairie Christmas
Enjoy a Prairie Christmas at Prairie Gardens Adventure Farm with family activities and of course family photos with Santa; more details here!

Cost: Tickets are $10 per person and include a photo with Santa and winter activities, children 2 and under are FREE.
Cabelas
Camo Santa will be hanging out at Cabelas South Pole for a few days this year! If you stop in to visit him you can enjoy a hot beverage with his elves and write a letter to Camo Santa so that he doesn’t forget what you wished for!

Visit with Santa Claus
Santa has landed in Edmonton and is available for a visit and a photo at various locations through Edmonton and area; you can find a full list of where he will be and when HERE.

Snowflake Sunday
Experience Snowflake Sunday at the Muttart Conservatory; in addition to exploring their winter themed pyramid you will enjoy: making a snowflake craft, planting a Christmas Cactus and more!

Sleigh Rides
The Lynnwood Community League is offering some free family fun with sleigh rides, hot chocolate and treats.
