Well hello again weekend, if you aren’t out Christmas Shopping or visiting a holiday market there are quite a few family activities happening in Edmonton. Here is the list of family friendly activities and events happening in #yeg this weekend:
Goodbye, Hello Closing Party
Join the Royal Alberta Museum in saying Goodbye to the past and Hello to the future at their closing party. The Museum will be closing down after this weekend to prepare for their move to a new location; and you can find a full line up of the events here.

Festival of Light
The Festival of Light celebrates the spirit of the season with spectacular light displays, outdoor activities, hot chocolate, crafts and more!

Waldorf Winter Fair
The 10 annual Waldorf Winter Fair is here again and it promises fun for the whole family! In addition to a handmade market there will be a campfire, fishing hole, cookie cave, handcrafts, and more!

Cabelas
Camo Santa will be hanging out at Cabelas South Pole for a few days this year! If you stop in to visit him you can enjoy a hot beverage with his elves and write a letter to Camo Santa so that he doesn’t forget what you wished for!

Children’s Christmas Party
The Westmount Community League is inviting you to join their Children’s Christmas Party! Everyone is welcome and there will be activities for the kids, a visit from Santa, facepainting and more!

Christmas is Coming to City Hall
“Under the direction of Paula Roberts, hosted by Matt Alden, and accompanied by Charlie Austin on piano, with Doug Berner on bass and Dean Pierno on drums, EKOSingers presents an afternoon of swingin’ Christmas tunes and familiar carols.” All the details here.

Keiki Polynesian Playtime
Get in to the Mele Kalikimaka spirit and enjoy some Polynesian fun! Children will be able to try out Hawaiian instruments, learn basic hula steps, and more. You can find all the details here.
