25th Annual Chili Cook Off
Nothing like a Chili Cook Off to kick off Rodeo Week in Edmonton! Enjoy a variety of chili’s, enter to win prizes, enjoy skilled demonstrations, and more!

Cost: $1 for sample bowl of Chili | $2 for regular size bowl of Chili
Rodeo Kids Korral
The Rodeo Kids Korral is a rodeo themed family event that offers: wagon rides, a petting zoo, live music, marshmallow roasting stations, barrel racing, and more!
When: November 7th | 10 am to 2 pm
Where: Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park ( Next to the Old Strathcona Farmers Market)
Cost: FREE but donations are encouraged with all proceeds going to Uncles and Aunts at Large and Adaptabilities.
Fantasy Worlds & Forgotten Realms
“Let your imagination loose as the ESO explores music of fantasy and fiction. Voyage to worlds such as Narnia and Middle Earth, take a flight on the X-Jet or the Enterprise, then tour Hogwarts and Wonka’s Chocolate Factory before finally scurrying down the rabbit hole to this Never Land of fun and familiar themes.” More information here.

Bouge de là: Bedtime!
“A child’s bed: place for discovery, emotion, imagination, and transformation. A cozy place to dream, or platform for bouncing and playing. With the bed as the very centre of this piece, Montreal dance troupe Bouge de là explores different slices of childhood from infancy to adolescence. The dancers portray these different stages of growth through movement, each section having its own unique qualities.”

Reel Family Cinema
The Metro Cinema offers a family movie on a regular basis, this weekend’s ‘Reel Family Cinema’ features Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Cost: Regular admission applies to adults | Children 12 and under are FREE
Wild Wagon Showdown
There is an official event parade that will start at 1:25 pm along 1920 Street (Fort Edmonton Park) with games and other activities in the Blatchford Hangar. Some of the activities include Lasso School, Face Painting and a wild west laser gun draw! OH and don’t miss the FREE horse drawn wagon rides around sections of Fort Edmonton Park!

Cost: FREE, however donations of toques and mitts are being accepted upon entry in support of Coats for Kids & Families.
A Tribute to Our Veterans
The Royal Canadian Artillery Band Presents a Musical Salute: A Tribute to Our Veterans. “Royal Canadian Artillery Band’s 3rd Annual Veterans’ Salute concert to recognize all currently serving members, former members, and especially the fallen. This year the concert will feature the Rhythm Gunners Big Band, the RCA Pipes & Drums, and the full Concert Band performing music from the war years from WWII through Afghanistan.”
