We recently had the opportunity to visit the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa just one hour and fifteen minutes from home in the Fraser Valley (British Columbia).
My family loves to travel and we have lots of experience with hotels. These are my favourite things about the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa.
1 | Amazing views
As you can see above, the views from the East Tower are phenomenal. Ask to stay on a higher floor (we were on the 6th facing East).
2 | Spacious rooms
We had adjoining rooms for the first time ever, and my girls thought it was completely cool that they each got their own bed and my big girls in their very ‘own’ room. Without adjoining rooms, we still would have had enough space with a cot. The rooms in the East Tower each have a beautiful little balcony.
3 | Mineral Hot Spring pools
There are three outdoor (one adults only) and one indoor pool, all around 98 degrees. There is also an indoor hot sitting pool, which is large and circular with generous space. The girls loved the indoor pool because it was so warm but was deep enough (8′) for diving and jumping.
4 | Pampering at the Spa
Any hotel with a spa is a hit with me and it was a real treat to enjoy a facial at the Healing Springs Spa. I can’t decide what my favourite part of a facial is, the hot wet towels, the temple massage or nearly falling asleep during the mask. Ask for Faye when you book your facial.
5 | The Water park in the Marina
I would love to head back here later this Season to enjoy more of the outdoor activities when it’s warmer since there are amazing activities like the pools, hikes, beach and inflatable water park (which I have to say I have never ever seen before in my life!)
Book your stay today, it’s an amazing family getaway so close to Vancouver, it’s an easy yes.
