The Carousel Theatre for Young People is presenting Peter Pan from November 20th, 2019 to January 5th, 2020. This version of Peter Pan is meant for children 4 and older, including adults who never wanted to grow up. Peter Pan tells the tale of a free spirited and adventurous boy who lived in Neverland and never wanted to grow up. He spends his time fighting Captain Hook and the pirates with his best friend Tinker Bell and the other Lost Boys. With folk and jazz music, this exuberant adaptation of J.M Barrie’s classic tale reimages Peter Pan for the new millennium. This magical story soars to new heights without the use of wires. Infused with spirited play, joy and a pinch of fairy dust- the show promises a rollicking good time. The Toronto production swept the Dora TYA Awards in 2018. The show has a 75 minute running time with a 15 minute intermission for public performances.
