For your next date night, consider a great dinner out followed by seeing Lisa Bloom, the final speaker in the PEP talk (Parenting Educational Program) series. These talks are organized to be thought provoking and inspiring, like a TED Talk for parents. Net proceeds will benefit the Vancouver International Children’s Festival.
Past speakers in the series have included Lenore Skenazy, dubbed America’s Worst Mom and the author of Free Range Kids, Sheryl Feinstein on “The Adolescent Brain”, and Deborah MacNamara on “The Lost Art of Play: Helping Children Grow Up.”
Lisa Bloom is the final speaker in this amazing line-up and will speak June 12th on “Raising Smart Kids in the New Millenium.”
This talk happens at the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton St.) June 12 at 7:30 pm. Tickets prices are $35. Get details and book your ticket HERE.
