Giveaway: Two Tickets to Lisa Bloom PEP Talk

For your next date night, consider a great dinner out followed by seeing Lisa Bloom, the final speaker in the PEP talk (Parenting Educational Program) series. These talks are organized to be thought provoking and inspiring, like a TED Talk for parents. Net proceeds will benefit the Vancouver International Children’s Festival.

Past speakers in the series have included Lenore Skenazy, dubbed America’s Worst Mom and the author of Free Range Kids, Sheryl Feinstein on “The Adolescent Brain”, and Deborah MacNamara on “The Lost Art of Play: Helping Children Grow Up.”

Lisa Bloom is the final speaker in this amazing line-up and will speak June 12th on  “Raising Smart Kids in the New Millenium.”

This talk happens at the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton St.) June 12 at 7:30 pm. Tickets prices are $35. Get details and book your ticket HERE.

    I am most interested on her perspective of how to raise boys that are successful in school and into adulthood. Should be a wonderful talk!!

    I would like to know more about safeguarding children in our technological societies. (I.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc)

    I’d love to hear what Lisa has to say about how to raise smart kids these days with all the technology we didn’t have back when we were little. I like you on facebook too!

    I’d like to hear what Lisa says about raising smart kids and how to prep them for smart life with technology. maybe tips on staying ahead of their game so to speak
