Looking for a place to cool off during the hot summer months? Visit any of the City’s outdoor swimming pools and have a whale of a time splashing, socializing with friends and family or simply relaxing for the day. The City manages a total of 5 outdoor swimming pool complexes including the newly refurbished and first of its kind in Canada, Borden Natural Swimming Pool. Just like last summer, the City of Edmonton has announced that Kids aged 12 and under will swim free at all City of Edmonton Outdoor Pools this summer.

Reserving in advance will guarantee admission and avoid line-ups. Simply, select the desired date, available time and admission type when prompted. Members, please select the $0 rate. All admission types are validated upon arrival at the facility.
You will receive a confirmation email shortly after your purchase that contains your purchase details and barcode for admission. Please bring this with you (printed or via mobile device).
Opening Dates
Outdoor Swimming Pools are scheduled to open on the following dates, weather permitting:
Fred Broadstock Outdoor Pool: May 20 (Reservations open May 13)
Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool and Kinsmen Spray Park: May 30 (Reservations open May 23)
Oliver: June 3 (Reservations open May 27)
Borden Natural Swimming Pool: June 10 (Reservations open June 3)
