Movie Review: Peter Rabbit 2

Peter Rabbit 2

Restrictions are lifting and movie theatres are opening back up. One movie that is currently available to watch in theater as well as rent at home is PETER RABBIT™ 2. We recently had the opportunity to watch the highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 film, Peter Rabbit, while hiding out in our only air conditioned room during a massive heat wave.  It was a great opportunity to sit together as a family and watch this light-hearted family movie.

If you know me, I am a huge fan of celebrity voices in animated movies. Like I have mentioned in my past reviews I love picking out whom does which character.  The voice overs in this movie were equally as fun, who doesn’t like the humor and energy of James Cordin, the voice of the main character, Peter Rabbit.

There was lots of adventure and laughter in this movie.  It did not disappoint. I would have to say it was a step up from the first movie, Peter Rabbit.  The kids had been eager to watch this sequel and they laughed a lot in this sequel.  Us adults also enjoyed the humor and action.  It was very engaging and had a plot twist to keep it moving well.  I highly recommend this family movie.

Synopsis:

Adventuring out of the garden, Peter finds himself in a world where his mischief is appreciated, but when his family risks everything to come looking for him, Peter must figure out what kind of bunny he wants to be. #PeterRabbit2
