Richmond Country Farms Pumpkin Patch

Richmond Country Farms ~ Go to the Pumpkin Patch!

Thousands of people of all ages visit the pumpkin patch each year. Guests enjoy many costumed entertainers including Polly Pumpkin, Strawberry Shortcake and Korny Corn.
Pumpkin pickers ride hay wagons past the duck ponds and waterfalls to the fields. The farm is decorated with corn stocks, sunflowers, whimsical decorations and almost authentic buildings relocated from Transylvania. Fresh BC grown Spartan apples are offered as a snack and your choice of pumpkin is included in your ticket price.

The Pumpkin Patch is open NOW on weekends from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm. (weather permitting). Saturdays and Sundays are first come first served. So hurry on down!  Monday to Friday 9:00-1:30 pm.

The Stanley Park Ghost Train

The Stanley Park Ghost Train ride is only one activity on-site at the grounds surrounding the Miniature Train. There’s kids’ activities, a Haunted Castle, craft areas, refreshments (hot chocolate and cookies), and face-painting.

The train ride is about 20 minutes, so there’s time to check out the other activities.

Your ticket included the train ride. Activities are free or by donation. Dress your kids in their costumes but make sure to dress warmly for the train ride as it can be quite cold.

The train runs October 11 – November 2, 2013 . Closed October 14 for Thanksgiving.

Granville Island Turkey Trot

Bring your whole family and your strollers too and make this fun, family friendly 10km run, walk or stroll part of your Thanksgiving tradition and celebrate by:

• Spending time with family
• Supporting the food bank
• Burning off all that yummy, rich turkey dinner with a 10km, walk or stroll run around the seawall

The Turkey Trot is great for racers, walkers, Nordic walkers, strollers, kids, families…essentially it’s a great outing for everyone.
