Santa Claus is Coming to The Fraser Valley

The holidays are officially here. If taking your kiddos to see Santa is part of your family tradition then below is a list of where you can see Santa throughout the Fraser Valley this winter.

Mission

Where: Unit 345, Junction Shopping Centre 

When: Now until December 24th (10am to 2pm). Friday’s noon to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday’s 11am to 5pm.

Info: “Photo with Santa” packages are numerous and offer great options. Also located in the Junction is the Mission Christmas Bureau (Unit 142). They are collecting food, gifts and money. They are especially in need of gifts for teens or tweens this season.

Abbotsford

Where: Highsteet Mall

When: Now until December 24th. Appointments can be made online. Limited spots are available.

Info: Photos are $15 and include a high resolution digital image and a free 5×7 print, compliments of London Drugs Highstreet. Visit the oversized Holiday Gift Box, home to Santa and his beloved Elves, located in Central Plaza and for every letter they receive they will donate a can of food to the Abbotsford Food Bank.

Where: Sevenoaks Mall

When:  Now until December 24th. December 3rd to December 14th: Monday to Saturday 10am to 9pm (closed for an hour at 1pm and 5pm). December 9th: 10am to 6pm (closed from 2pm-3pm). December 15th to 23rd: Monday to Saturday 10am to 9pm. December 16th and 23rd: 10am to 6pm. December 24th 10am to 5pm.

Info: Photo packages range from $15-45. They also have theme days where you can get $5 off by participating. Gift wrapping is also available by donation with the funds going to Abbotsford Community Services.

Langley

Where: Willowbrook Mall

When: Now until December 24th. Monday to Saturday: 9:30am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm. Sunday: 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. December 24th: 9:30am to 1pm.

Info: They are offering a Fast Pass to avoid long line-ups and can be found online. Photo packages range from $20-50.

Coquitlam

Where: Coquitlam Mall

When: Now until December 24th. Monday to Saturday from 10am to 9pm. Sunday December 23rd from 10am to 9pm. Monday December 24th from 10am to 4pm.

Info: Santa photos are available for pick up immediately following your visit. Santa must take a half hour break to feed his reindeer every day at approximately 12:30pm, 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Santa line-ups will close one hour before closing to accommodate visitors in line. Photo packages range from $22- $55. Gift wrapping to benefit Share Family and Community Services are located on Level 2 near the Gap.

Burnaby

Where: Metropolis at Metrotown

When: Now until December 24th. Monday to Saturday: 11am-1pm, 2-5pm, and 6-8pm. Sunday: 11am-1pm, 2-5pm,and  6-8pm. Christmas Eve: 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.

Info: Photos with Santa are by donation (minimum of $3.00 per photo) with all proceeds going to the Burnaby Christmas Bureau.Santa Photos will be available digitally. Customers will receive a unique link via email and a website address to access their photos and share or print as many copies as they like for friends and family. They have a SMS text to return system is back again this year. Register at one of their kiosks and have the option of leaving the line to grab a bite or pop into a store before coming back to see Santa.

Surrey

Where: Guildford Town Centre

When: Now until December 24th. Monday to Saturday: 11am to 8pm with breaks from 1pm to 1:30pm, 3pm to 4pm, and 6pm to 6:30pm. Sundays: 11am to 5pm with breaks from 1pm to 1:30pm and 3pm to 3:30pm.

Info: Photo packages range from $17 to $41. They are offering a Fast Pass online until December 17th. Holiday gift wrapping, sponsored by Osim, can be found on the upper level next to Forever 21. Present wrapping is by donation with all proceeds going to the Surrey Firefighters Charitable Society. Toy Mountain is back! If you donate an unwrapped toy or cash before 10am and you will receive a free breakfast from Triple O’s.
