Things to Do Easter Weekend in Edmonton Area 2022


Easter weekend is Friday, April 15 – Monday, April 18 this year. Here are the events around the city and surrounding that being offered this year.


Sherwood Park Easter Egg Hunt

Enjoy your Saturday driving the Town, Finding the Eggs and snapping photos of them to be entered into hundreds of prizes from local businesses. Stay up to date by following the fan page as there will be new updates coming daily through March and April!


Stony Plain Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt will kick off the morning of Friday, April 15 and run throughout the weekend. There will be baskets, eggs, and treats hidden throughout public spaces in Stony Plain. Find an Easter treat for a chance to enter the Easter Bunny’s grand prize draw!

If you find a treat, be sure to look for special instructions the Easter Bunny left behind for the grand prize draw!



Easter Sunday Brunch

The DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton is so excited to come back TOGETHER and host our Easter Sunday Family Brunch in Stages Restaurant!

Our culinary team is known for their exceptional buffet brunches and Easter is no exception!

We will be featuring 2 seatings on Sunday, April 17th – the first at 10:00 AM and the second at 12:30 PM. Each seating will be full of FAMILY FUN including a visit from E.A.R.S. who will have the cutest Easter Bunnies available throughout the day for photo ops and a special appearance from the Ice Princesses who will visit each table with special treats for our Mini Brunchers!

Adults: $54.48 , includes Gratuity (15%) and GST (5%) for guests 12 -64 years of age

Seniors: $45.57, includes Gratuity (15%) and GST (5%) for seniors 65+

Children: $25.20 includes Gratuity (15%) and GST (5%) for guests 5 -11 years of age.

Complimentary for guests 0-4 years of age.



Easter at the Zoo

It’s Easter at the Edmonton Valley Zoo! We’ll be celebrating with a scavenger hunt, an Easter craft, an EGGcellent touch table and more! As you stroll around the Zoo, enjoy a mini magic show by our roving magician. Watch as the resident animals enjoy their own special Easter egg treats and stop by the Urban Farm to see some bunnies!
