All right y’all, now that Thanksgiving is over with, you are probably staring into a refrigerator full of leftovers ranging from turkey and stuffing to gravy and cranberry sauce, and are wondering “What in the world do I do with all of these leftovers?!” Don’t worry! I am going to share 5 recipes to help use up those leftovers, and these are not your traditional uses for the leftovers either! I am not the biggest fan of leftovers, but these recipes look so tasty that they just might change my mind! So grab your apron and your leftovers, and lets head into the kitchen to try out these awesome recipes!
1. Turkey Cranberry Sliders by Graceful Little Honey Bee
These turkey cranberry sliders would be perfect for the day after Thanksgiving. We are all full of turkey, we do not want to spend anymore time in the kitchen than we need to, and I don’t know about you, but the day after Thanksgiving, I definitely don’t want to eat more large meals! Paired with a delicious salad, this is the perfect way to use up all of those leftovers!
Ingredients:
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 2 cups diced turkey
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 6 slices Swiss cheese (can use any type of cheese)
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. dried minced onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese
- Dried parsley
2. Leftover Thanksgiving Casserole by It Is A Keeper
What I love about this recipe is that it uses all of your leftovers! Cranberry sauce, turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing, I can’t think of a better use for all of the usual leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups leftover prepared stuffing – divided
- 4 cups coarsely chopped leftover cooked turkey
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise – divided
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
- 2 cups leftover mashed potatoes
- 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3. Thanksgiving Leftover Turkey Enchiladas by My Home Based Life
If you are like me, you love enchiladas! I could eat enchiladas several times a week! I always use rotisserie chicken for enchiladas, so why not substitute it with turkey and stuffing?! These are 100% on my list of things to make with my leftover turkey!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked turkey, shredded
- 3/4 cup prepared stuffing
- 3/4 cup Colby Jack cheese, shredded
- 10 oz enchilada sauce
- 4 tortillas
4. Thanksgiving Croquettes by Cheap Recipe Blog
Deep fried turkey, potatoes, and stuffing – need I say more? My mouth is watering just thinking about these delicious fried balls of goodness, and to top it off, they are smothered in leftover gravy. This is a great idea for an appetizer if you are still feeling the entertaining vibes of the holiday.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups diced turkey (white or dark meat)
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups leftover stuffing
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp. water
- Flour
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil, for frying
5. Leftover Thanksgiving Stuffed Shells by One Sweet Appetite
I love pasta, and it is no secret that my daughter also loves pasta, so I think this is another recipe I am going to have to try with all of the turkey leftovers we are bound to have this year. Carbs on carbs on carbs – if you are not a fan of carbs, this recipe is not for you.
Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. diced onion
- 2 Tbsp. diced celery
- 1 cup shredded Italian blend cheese
- 1 cup diced turkey
- 1 cup cooked stuffing
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- 24 cooked large pasta shells
- Turkey gravy
