Canada Day at Studio Bell
There will be a range of musical activities all day at Studio Bell but the must see event? The Oh Canada sing along, happening at noon and 3pm

Eau Claire Market and 3D Canada 150 at Prince’s Island Park

Adventure downtown and see the market at Eau Claire Plaza and take a selfie at the 3D Canada 150 sign in prince’s island park, if you’re posting on social media be sure to use the hashtag #3DCanada150 and we will be sharing our favourite photo if you want to be included feel free to tag @modernmamayyc

Canada Day Outdoor Carnival at Springs Church
Bring your friends & neighbours and join Springs Church to celebrate Canada Day together.  The event is open to everyone and general admission is free, however, with the purchase of a $5 wristband the following activities are included: The Ultimate Challenge inflatable, 30 ft. Mount Astro inflatable, Calgary Reptile Zoo, Face Painting, Balloon Animals, Glitter Tattoos, Storyland & Craft Corner, Carnival Games. There will also be a Toddler Play Area and the Calgary Police will be here, and there will be concession + coffee!

Chalk Festival in Crescent Heights 

Join the party and create a chalk master piece for Canada! The street will be closed to vechiles and they have 100 canada 150 glow sticks to give away, fun!

Farm Girls Food at Olympic Plaza

Cool off in the Olympic Plaza splash pad and check out some seriously delicious food! You can expect a full day of music, dance, food and storytelling. The Farm Girls Food menu will include: Butternut Squash Truffle, Bacon Mac N Cheese; The “Paco” – a Brioche Pancake, with Ginger Braised Beef, Quick Slaw and Garlic Aioli; Farmer’s Garden Quinoa Bowl; Herbed Pork and Goat Cheese sliders; and more to be decided!

Canada Day Swim and Skate at Vivo 

Go for a swim in the pool or enjoy free public skate happening from 12pm-4pm. Also be sure to visit the Canada 150 photo booth to commemorate Canada’s 150th and to enter to win a Vivo giftcard!

Fort Calgary
Family friendly activities including a FREE pancake breakfast, live entertainment, kid’s crafts, a petting zoo, a paddle race, and lots more! Fort Calgary will also be displaying the historic Treaty 7 document – on loan from the National Archives.
