If you have seen any Cirque du Soleil show, you know the kind of chills these shows produce.
From sitting in a tent, literally a big top circus tent, around a circular stage (which, by the way, doesn’t look all that impressive until the show starts and then it does ALL sorts of things!) to the comical interludes with fun characters in each of the shows I have experienced, it’s all just quite amazing.
If you think this is simply a circus act, with some good acrobatics thrown in, you couldn’t be more wrong. Be prepared to feel goosebumps, tears of joy, gasps of amazement and fear and wonder throughout a Cirque du Soleil show.
I am a big fan, KOOZA in Vancouver last week was my sixth Cirque du Soleil performance I have experienced and it did not disappoint.
My favourite act by far and one I had not seen in any previous show was the wheel of death. The entire crowd gasped many times throughout this act.
Go see it, and take your kids if you can swing it. It’s in Vancouver now until December 27th under the Big Top between Rogers Arena and Science World.
Tickets available at Cirque du Soleil.
