Family Easter Events on the North Shore this Weekend {April 3-6, 2015}

Easter Train at Stanley Park {ADULTS: $8.75 KIDS: $3.50}

Fri, April 3 to Mon, April 6 (various times), Stanley Park, Vancouver (just over Lions Gate Bridge!)

Hop on by for a fun-filled day including a ride on the miniature train, egg hunts, crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

 

Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt at Heywood Park {FREE}

Sat, April 4 (10:30 am – 12:00 pm), Heywood Park, Marine Drive & MacKay Ave, North Van

Join in the hunt for Easter eggs with the Easter Bunny himself! There will be face painting, crafts, entertainment and a bouncy castle (weather permitting). The event is for children aged 2-9 years old.  The hunt begins at 10:30am sharp (while supplies last – I recommend getting there early!).

 

Dundarave Village Easter Egg Hunt {FREE}

Sat, April 4 (11:00 am – 12:00 pm), Dundarave Village, 2400-2500 block of Marine Dr., West Van

18,000 eggs will be handed out and children will be given a ticket for a plush bunny prize draw. The hunt takes place at 11:00am, the bunny prize draw is at 12:15pm on the beach.

 

Easter Family Fun at Capilano Mall {FREE}

Sat, April 4 (11:00 am – 12:00 pm), Capilano Mall, Marine Drive, North Van

Enjoy Easter Family Fun this Saturday from Noon to 3pm in the Grand Court. Lots of great fun to be had… face painting, a balloon twister, crafts and a special visit by the Easter Bunny!

 

Easter Egg Hunt at Maplewood Farm {ADULTS: $8.85 / KIDS $5.75}

Sun, April 5 (10:00 am – 12:00 pm), Maplewood Farm, 405 Seymour River Place, North Van

Hop on down to the farm for an Easter egg hunt like no other. There will be pony rides, face  painting, crafts, and sing-a-long story time.

 

Easter at Lonsdale Quay Market {FREE}

Sun, April 5 (10:00 am – 1:00 pm), Lonsdale Quay – 123 Carrie Cates Court, North Van

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt, as well as face painting and balloon art for a small fee, and an Easter-themed crafts. Kids will hunt for five different coloured eggs on the Retail Level of the Market, and then hand in the empty plastic eggs in to receive an Easter Treat Bag! Treat Bags might include chocolate, a free dance class at Perform Art Studios, a hot cross bun from Cobs Bakery, and more treats! The Easter Bunny will be walking around from 11am to 12pm, then available for pictures on the Retail Level from 12pm to 1pm.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Ron Andrews {Regular Swim Admission}

Enjoy a Easter Egg hunt followed by a hoppin’ good time in the pool.

 

Tiddlycove Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt {FREE}

Sun, April 5 (1:00 pm sharp), John Lawson Park, Foot of 17th Street, West Van

Join the Ambleside Tiddlycove Lions Club for the annual Easter egg hunt. Bring your baskets and don’t be late!

 

Blueridge Eggstravaganza {FREE}

Mon, April 6 (10:00 am – 12:00 pm), McCartney Creed Park Playground, Larkhall Crescent, North Van

Blueridge & Seymour Heights families are invited to grab their baskets and join in the search for goodies left by the Easter Bunny! The park will be divided into different areas by age, so everyone has a fun and fair time. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the Harvest Project.
