Five Christmas Cookies Santa Would Love On Christmas Eve

 

Mr.Claus will soon be coming to town and in our house, we always make freshly baked cookies just for him. In the past, we have made the classics, sugar cookies, and gingerbread men but this year we are looking to shake things up. So, I have put together my list of top 5 cookies that you and Santa are going to love!

 

1. Hot Chocolate Cookies From Glorious Treats

All the comforts of a hot cup of cocoa in cookie form! These cookies are chewy, chocolatey and sure to please even the big guy himself!

2. Whipped Shortbread Cookies From Just So Tasty

 

I’m a sucker for a good shortbread cookie and whipped shortbread is my absolute fav! One of the best parts is how incredibly simple they are to make so little hands should have no problems helping. Just make sure to save some for you know who 🙂

3. Grinch Crinkle Cookies From Simplicity Living

My kiddos always love making fun, festive cookies and these are it! Now the Grinch may not care for Santa but Santa is sure to love these cookies. They use a box mix and incorporate some cute red hearts made from royal icing. In a pinch, I’m sure some store bought royal icing with red food coloring could save you some time!

 

4. Christmas Tree Meringue Cookies From Crumbs & Corkscrews

Now, these are definitely not your classic Christmas cookies and that is why I couldn’t resist sharing them. With as little as 6 ingredients and some time spent in the oven, these are sure to please!

 

5. Christmas Swirl Sugar Cookies From I Love My Disorganized Life

Now, I know I said I would be sharing unique Chrismas cookies and I feel like this is both that and a classic cookie all in one! And even though these cookies look quite impressive they are actually even easier to make than your typical sugar cookie. I’m sure these will be at the top of my kiddos cookie list.
