Flyover Canada and the Christmas experience truly showcases what a beautiful country we live in. Flyover Canada is a breathtaking, all-ages, flight simulation ride. You get an 8 minute warm up show before being led into the flight room. It features a large dome screen with the latest in projection and ride technology creating a realistic flying experience, complete with wind, scents and mist. Can be fun to try to guess the provinces in the scenes throughout the show. The show itself can be very tame depending on how you feel about the perceived heights you are soaring over. My favourite thing about the show, is listening to the comments and oohs and ahhs of first time riders. The entire experience is 25 minutes. British Columbia residents also receive a 20% discount on gate admission booking by selecting BC resident option on website.
This experience has you flying like Santa this Christmas on a magical flight across Canada. After meeting some of the big guy’s elves, Chestnut and Pinecone, you’ll join them as “elf spotters” as they take flight across Canada looking for their fellow vacationing elves and get them to return to the North Pole. The experience even gives you a sneak peek of the North Pole! After the show you just want to grab your favourite holiday jammies, drink hot chocolate and count the days until Christmas.
The price of Flyover Canada varies day to day depending on projected visitation. Price is generally lower on a Monday than a Friday or Saturday. Early booking is recommended. Same day tickets are always lower online than at the ticket booth. Children’s tickets (ages 12 and under) are $10/off adult admission. Tickets for students and seniors are $6/off the adult price. The ride is closed Christmas Day.
