On September 30th, 2018 Edmonton hosts their free admission day to their recreation centers, attractions, and cultural facilities. It is a fantastic way to check out the different attractions that our city has to offer without having to pay sometimes high cost of admission.
Free Attractions
Edmonton Valley Zoo
This is the perfect opportunity to come and “Get Closer” to the animals at the Zoo, and witness amazing animal talks, and activities! The Edmonton Food Bank will be accepting non-perishable food donations at the gate.
John Janzen Nature Center
Since 1976, the John Janzen Nature Centre’s interactive exhibits, educational programming, and special events have encouraged visitors towards a greater awareness of and engagement with the wonders of nature that surround us.
Muttart Conservatory
Inside the pyramids, three biomes are in the Conservatory’s year-round displays. A fourth pyramid houses creative feature displays, changing up to eight times a year. As an accredited museum, the Muttart Conservatory preserves and grows one of Canada’s largest botanical collections, and shares knowledge and enthusiasm with visitors.
