Giveaway: George’s Cream

I have grown up in Alberta winters pretty much my whole life, so I know a fair bit about dry skin. And this summer my family seemed to spend a lot of time in swimming pools! Scratch, scratch! So when the Geroge’s skin care line showed up at my doorstep for review, I was keen to try it!

Ironically my elbows got scaly red bumps the day before it came, seriously! And true to the products slogan, it worked! We already know that this is a great product, so from a mom’s perspective, I wanted to tell you five things I love about George!

1. As a health care professional myself and a born and raised Albertan, I love that this product was created by a pharmacist and LOCAL Albertan. Pharmacist George Doherty created the George’s Special Dry Skin Cream product over 15 years ago using his wife’s cake mixer to help Albertans combat dry winter skin.

2. Unlike many creams, George’s does not contain urea, lanolin or parabens and has been specifically made to be hypoallergenic and fragrance free. There are NO additives, irritants, fragrances or colouring. And all those fancy words make this mama SMILE!

3. Although originally designed for dry Alberta winters, George’s Special Dry Skin Cream is great for other skin conditions that affect KIDS and MOMS, too! It’s recommended by dermatologists and pharmacists to treat eczema, sunburn, windburn, cradle cap, winter itch, flaky skin, tough elbow skin, swimmer’s itch, dry hands and cracked cuticles!

4. I love that there’s a lighter version called George’s Light Special Moisturizing Lotion for everyday use. I used this lotion all summer on the kids after the pool… it was AMAZING!

5. And last, but not least… I love that the Geroge’s website talks to you AND the menu bars sound like slot machines… for real! Click on georgescream.com and George will tell you… It Works! Want to find out what so many people already know, that George’s works? Enter our contest below!

I would like to win because we are HUGE fans of George’s cream here in our house. My daughter had eczema head to toe for months and the product reccomended by my pediatrician was George’s! And after months of trying everything else it was the only cream that cleared her eczema! Now it’s the only cream that we use in our house.

I would love to win because I have heard such great things about George’s Cream and would like to see for myself. I love the fact that it is unscented too as I have severe perfume allergies.

Would love to try this cream! We all have dry skin in this house, especially after moving from BC, i can for sure say alberta is DRY! My family suffers from eczema, so any alternative to hydrocortisone cream would be awesome!

I would love to try George’s cream as I have terrible eczema. I’ve tried so many lotions and creams out there but they are either too sticky or don’t work. I live in Alberta as well and know how dry it can be here. Even now, when the weather’s still nice, my skin is constantly dry and that drives me crazy!
