This is one of the most amazing cakes I have ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth – my first attempt didn’t go well without my husband (who is a baker) to supervise me the the second: WOW. This is an amazing cake and I can’t tell you enough times to make it, make it now! The star anise ice cream is so nice and easy to pull together I was a pro at that and couldn’t get over how well they paired.
