We are very excited to introduce you to Brianne Prior. She is from Abbotsford, British Columbia.
Are you an Urban or Suburban Mama, where do you live?
Suburban Mama – I live in Abbotsford, BC.
Tell us about your children?
We have a 1.5-year-old daughter who is our absolute world. We also have 2 dogs, our furbabies.
Tell us about your typical weekday?
Make breakfast, laundry and some housework, then my daughter and I usually head out in the afternoon, either before or after lunch and nap time. We don’t follow a strict schedule, she is a very easy going baby. We will go grocery shopping, or go swimming, to a park, to a play place, somewhere for her to run around and have fun. In the summer we are at the lake a lot. Then it’s back home to get dinner ready, before bath and bed.
Do you have help?
My husband is a big help. He works full time, but he does a lot around the house in the evenings and on weekends.
Who cooks dinner?
I cook dinner during the week. I don’t like making basic recipes, I love making Thai food and vegan dishes. My husband likes to cook dinner on the weekends.
How often do you buy something just for you?
I’ll buy myself things when I need or want something.
Do you exercise regularly and if so, what and how do you fit it in?
I am a very active, outdoorsy person. I do not like the gym, but I am outside a lot walking our dogs or going for hikes. My daughter always comes along with me. I will wear her to go hiking or snowshoeing, and if it’s during nap time she will nurse in the carrier and fall asleep on me.
What clothing lines or stores do you like to buy for your children?
I really like Winners and the Gap, as well as Osh Kosh.
I’m totally obsessed with…
My daughter.. and shopping.. especially shopping for my daughter!

My favourite drugstore buy is…
False eyelashes, lotions, bath stuff.
My guilty pleasure is…
Netflix documentaries on health.
