SOCIAL PLAY GROUPS KICK OFF THIS MONTH
Social play groups also kick off this month at the beautiful Riverwise Yoga Studio in Panorama Ridge, for both 3-5-year-olds and 5-7-year-old groups.
Nenno’s social playgroup is a weekly, one-hour social session for children and parents to connect, learn and grow together. The social playgroup is based on a play-to-learn model which allows kids to develop their social skills and learn techniques such as mindful breathing, yoga and progressive muscle relaxation through a supported “free play” period that is facilitated by their highly experienced staff.
The group also provides an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect with each other and form supportive relationships. Parents are asked to stay for the full hour and will be able to share concerns, ideas, and experiences with each other over snacks and cups of coffee, tea or juice. Every month the classes will have themed discussions on topics, such as sharing, personal space, asking for help and more.
