In my house Halloween is a holiday! October 1st is when I start pulling out our fun fall and Halloween decorations, start “booing” the neighbours and of course, get my kids doing some fun crafts with me!
What is “Booing” your neighbours? Well it’s fun! And not at all as bad as it sounds!
This year, we starting Booing our neighborhood. My son picked 3 houses and we put together Boo Bags for them. In your Boo Bag you can put in anything: stickers, candy, home made treats or crafty items.
Our Boo Bags Included:
- Halloween Note Pads
- Eyeballs (ping pong balls)
- Spider webbing w/spiders
- A DIY linky craft (pre-cut construction paper bundled together to make their own linky craft like the one below!)
The whole point of the Boo Bags is to include a note with instructions to pass on the “BOO” to other neighbours who have not yet been BOO’d. At the end of October, hopefully your whole neighbourhood has taken part in the Booing!
Thanks Redtri for the inspiration!
